Welcome
Elizabeth A Garcia-Gray MD

Dear Friends,

Thank you for visiting my website. I appreciate your kind support and encouragement.

Born and raised in the Philippines, I grew up in the midst of a huge loving mission-oriented
extended family whose main ideology is " to those much is given, much is expected." Filipino,
Spanish and Chinese blood run through my veins so multiculturalism and diversity are important
to me. Life led me to live in the USA  where I finished my high school and went to college, and
then to Spain where I received my medical degree. While in Europe, I had the opportunity to
travel many countries and learn about more cultures. In the process, I developed a deep sense
of awe for the beauty of nature on this earth in contrast with a profound awareness of the
sufferings of many people in various parts of the world. It is difficult to turn a blind eye. In this
site you will see how nature's beauty and peace can help replenish those who suffer and how
compassion and loving-kindness can encourage the hearts of those in despair.

Music is also a big part of my life, a legacy from my mother who passed away as I was
writing the last chapters of one of my books.  Music is a soft balm for saddened souls. My mother
will live eternally in my heart for she will be there wherever there is music. My brother JUN
joined my mother in the Great Beyond recently. He was an everyday hero. A courageous spirit
who loved God and people. The spiritual music of his extraordinarily honorable deeds will
forever be a part of our family.

As a physician, I focus on treating people the way I want my family to be treated. As an
author, I wish to give a message of hope and courage to many who have suffered tragedies, losses
and disasters. As a mother, I give my love to all of you who have the courage to encourage loved
ones who are suffering.

More so, I want to share with you the divine Love and faith that anchor me during times
of sorrow and joy throughout my life.

May the light of love and compassion shine upon you and your loved ones always.

                                                                                                                  Kindest regards,

                                                                                                                             Liz
